About us

John Shaw, a kitchen fitter for 20 years felt that there had to be a way of improving fitting kitchen cabinets with handles, so he started tinkering in his shed with ideas to develop a tool to help the handle installation process. After a number of iterations, he came up with a design that he felt was both unique and easy to use. In 2016, John patented the product concept not just to help himself but every kitchen fitter around the world.

After a few manufacturing dead-ends, he met with Melton Plastics Ltd., a Scottish injection moulding company. The team at Melton Plastics quickly identified that while the product concept and basic design was good, it was ready for mass production and worked closely with John and his business partner to update the design. The end result was a user-friendly and high-quality kitchen handle installation aid.
