The handle to be fitted is attached to the H-JIG automatically setting the distance between drilling points. Because the handle becomes part of the tool there is no limit to the length of handle which can be fitted.
The H-JIG can be used with short handles and extra long handles and can be used on the vast majority of doors and drawers. There are a small number of handle and drawer length combinations which cannot be accommodated - in particular very short handles centred on very long drawers. The maximum distance from the edge of the panel to the first drilling point is 310mm.
The H-JIG comes with a full set of instructions and you can also view our instructional videos.

We do not recommend drilling directly. The H-JIG is designed to allow drilling positions to be marked with a pencil or pen and then drilled. We recommend holding a wooden block behind the door when drilling to avoid splitting the surface of the door.
